The Challenge
Ken Brooke our President has challenged himself, myself and anyone else who is interested to participate as a sponsored runner(??) in this years City to Surf.
Ken admits that he probably wont make the whole length, in fact he may even get waylaid at a watering hole along the way.
He would like us to raise funds for the Intensive Care Foundation
The 2010 Season Begins
The Competition organised by Nepean District Soccer Football Association is scheduled to commence on Saturday 10th March.
Small Sided Games for Under 8's and younger
The Football Federation Australia is changing the way that children between the Ages of 5 and 12 years old play Soccer.
While we have only been provided with minimal information and certainly nothing that can be given to Players and/or Parents, the following information was found on the FFA, Football NSW & Nepean District websites.
Our Home Field is Potter Field (also know as Shepherd Park). It is located in the Block bordered by Bennett Road, Shepherd Road, Orchard Road and the M4 Motorway.
Potter Field is centrally located in the St.Marys/St.Clair Area, being just over 5 Klms to the furthest part of North St.Marys and Erskine Park but is less than 4 Klms from the furthest part of St.Clair.
Enter either "StMarys Soccer Club" or "Potter Field" (without the quotes) into Google Maps to see exactly where we are.
For the benefit of visitors and members, to make your visit to the club
grounds as enjoyable as possible, the club has a strict alcohol policy.
Taken from the Code of Conduct:
"You may not
participate as either a player, official or spectator whilst under the influence
of alcohol or a prohibited drug.
No alcohol
or prohibited drugs must be consumed within the fenced area of Shepherd Park
(also known as Potter Field) whilst activities involving St.Marys Soccer Club
are being conducted. "
